In short
- We collect your email (private), an optional first name (public on your idea), your idea text (public once approved) and which ideas you voted for (private — only totals are public).
- We use it to run the board, prevent abuse and — only if you ask — email you about your idea. We never sell it.
- Ask us to delete your account and ideas at any time.
1. Who we are
Build It Live is run by Kiwana AI, Inc., 1673 Castaway Court, Hoffman Estates, IL 60010. Contact: multipliers@kiwana.ai.
2. What we collect
- Email address — from your Google account or the email-link sign-in. Private: never shown on the board or to other viewers.
- First name — optional, and shown publicly on ideas you submit.
- Your ideas — the text you submit, when, and a record of the terms you accepted (version, a fingerprint of the exact text, time, a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser’s user agent). Ideas are public once our team approves them.
- Comments and suggestions you post, an optional display name, your upvotes and any reports you make. Posts and display names are public.
- Votes — which ideas you voted for. Private; only the total per idea is public.
- Your 18+ confirmation and when you gave it, and whether you asked for update emails.
- Security data — sign-in details from Firebase Authentication (Google), and one-way hashes of IP addresses and account ids used for rate limiting, kept for up to 2 days.
3. How we use it
- To run the board: sign you in, count one vote per person, show ideas and totals.
- To review ideas, combine duplicates and keep the board free of abuse.
- To email you when your idea is approved, picked or built — only if you ticked that box. Turn it off by asking us.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account, votes and ideas while your account is open, and delete them within 30 days after you ask us to. Server logs: 30 days. Rate-limit hashes: up to 2 days.
6. Your choices
Email multipliers@kiwana.ai to see, correct or delete your account, votes and ideas. Deleting your account removes your votes and unlinks your ideas from you.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, and to have it deleted, without being treated differently for asking. Email us to use any of these rights; we respond within 45 days.
7. Adults only
Build It Live is for people 18 and older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this notice; the date above shows the latest version.
