A shared costume lending network for theaters and costume collections
The problem
Theaters, universities and rental houses hold tens of thousands of costume pieces, yet productions find them by phone calls, emails and in-person pulls. Measurements for each cast member are matched by hand, holds and returns are tracked on paper, and costumes from a finished show sit in storage while another company across town buys or builds the same thing.
