The problem
Country elevators run scale tickets, contracts, grades and grower settlements across separate, decades-old systems and spreadsheets. At harvest, tickets are rekeyed, shrink and discounts are worked by hand, and settlements and inventory positions lag days or weeks behind the grain in the bins.
