A shared music library and lending network for community ensembles
The problem
Community orchestras, bands and choirs keep sheet music in boxes tracked by a volunteer librarian, so parts go missing, pieces get bought or rented twice, and nobody knows what the group already owns. Ensembles that own a piece rarely lend it to the ensemble across town because there is no shared catalog, loan record or return check.
