Why this niche
The market you’d be serving
Independent welders and small welding & fabrication shops — often one person with a truck, serving farms, small manufacturers and local construction.

None
of the general field-service apps welders pay for monthly today (Joist, Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuickBooks) is built for welding

Welding OS comes with Starter, Pro and Crew plan tiers. Your customers’ plans and prices are set by you.
What owners in this niche struggle with
- Chasing payment after the job is done
- Per-project billing and irregular cash flow
- Quotes and invoices still on paper or in spreadsheets
Worth knowing: Demand for welders is strong, but the number of independent welding businesses has been roughly flat — most welders (63%) work in manufacturing, not for themselves. Source: US Bureau of Labor Statistics (2025); US Census Bureau, Nonemployer Statistics (2023)

Frequently asked
What do I get when I buy Welding OS?
A license to run Welding OS — complete, production-ready software for mobile welders — under your own brand, hosted and operated by multipliers.ai. You can start with yourname.apps.multipliers.ai until you decide on your own custom domain. Your brand is on everything your customers see; your customers, your prices and your customer relationships are yours. With Host & Operate, multipliers.ai runs the code, hosting and updates for you.
Is Welding OS exclusive?
No. Welding OS is licensed non-exclusively — other buyers can sell it under their own brands, each on a separate, isolated instance with its own data and domain. You stand apart through your brand, your positioning, and the customers you serve.
How is Welding OS priced?
Host & Operate is a one-time setup fee plus a monthly Operate & Evolve service fee that covers hosting, monitoring, security, and ongoing improvements — everything that keeps your hosted instance live. The monthly fee is part of Host & Operate, not an optional add-on. If you do not want a monthly charge, choose the DIY blueprint, a one-time purchase. The current price is shown in the buy box and your cart, and Stripe Checkout shows the final amount, including any tax, before you pay.
What's the difference between Host & Operate and DIY?
Host & Operate is done-for-you: we build, host, and operate the running software for you, for a one-time setup fee plus a monthly service fee. DIY is the blueprint — the validated idea, spec, prototype, and build-and-launch playbook — a one-time purchase; you build and host it yourself.
What happens if I stop paying the monthly fee?
We give you a grace window and an export of your data, then deprovision the instance cleanly. Your end-customer data lives only in your own isolated instance — we never hold it — so nothing is retained by us after teardown.
Can I use my own domain?
You can start with yourname.apps.multipliers.ai until you decide on your own custom domain. Host & Operate instances run on your own branding from day one; connecting a custom domain is coming, and your app keeps working at its free address until then.
